Asunnot – Old Orchard Beach

”Not what we were expecting. One room was listed as having two twin beds, but it was the smallest bedroom and one of the beds was a fold down cot. Both beds were touching one another when they were down and there was no room to walk to the bathroom. The main bedroom at the top of the stairs only had one working outlet. The tv and lamp were unplugged and had zero way of being plugged in because the extension cord ran underneath the bed to the AC. So you could be cool with the AC, or swelter while...

”Pictures do not always show the truth. The floors were sticky, the space smelled like a combination of too much cleanser and old cigarette smoke. The countertops were dirty, there was no place to hang our clothes. The only storage compartment provided in the bedroom was full of sheets and blankets, with no place to put them if you wanted to use the storage. ”Listing states 10 can stay. That would be very tight. The kitchen is very small and only 4 could really fit in it. The apartment had a foul smell throughout the stay. The upstairs tenants were extremely loud. We were woken up at 7:00 AM by someone running throughout the upstairs apt. for 3 hours!! The positive-it seemed clean, it was fairly close to the beach.”

Walkable distance to places that were even now after the summer season which was wonderful. Being so close to the beach we walked it multiple times a day.
