”Excellent place to stay with free parking outside and only a ten minute walk onto the seafront. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. We had a double room which was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Scarborough.”

”I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. How wrong could we be, The room we were allocated was dirty so much so my partner went around the room with wet wipes to remove dust and filth from surfaces and mirrors.In the bathroom the lino flooring hadn't been mopped and the skirting boards haven't been cleaned for the past 6months I would say.The shower door leaks and the sealant around the bath is loose and as got black mould on it...The...
