"The Sandbar is being renovated. Only half of it is done. There is no check-in or no one to actually speak to. If there is a problem we had to talk with the workers. The outside bar is not set up yet. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. Having said that, the room was very nice and clean. ..."

"This is a great older motel that has been updated nicely. Staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. We loved that you could walk to the beach! We also enjoyed the fire pit, met some nice people. Its location is perfect too, great for a visit to Elk Rapids! We definitely will return!"
