”This is my second time I wanted to show my granddaughter why her Nana is moving to Hawaii and this is one of the places she fell in love with her. I fell in love with the place has been renovated, so it’s very shiny and clean, but only takes secondsplace when it comes to the view always moving. Unpredictable and so much marine life this time we saw dolphins and turtles. The Dolphins were showing off. ”We loved staying at Volcano House! The property is beautiful and relaxing. It’s close enough to Hilo and ideally located right next to the Volcano national park. On Sunday the 20th we got an alert for Kīlauea episode 29 and quickly went to the lookout. We beat the crowds and watched the eruption, it was awesome. I still can’t believe how lucky we were to see it. I highly recommend staying here, the house is outstanding.”

”The space is beautiful inside and out, we struggled with the gate lock the first couple of times we used it, it started to loosen up the more we used it. The frogs come alive at night and give you a symphony. If you’re sensitive to noise while sleeping bring ear plugs. We will absolutely stay here again.”

”We loved staying in the penthouse. It was very tasteful and comfortable, and the view from the bedroom and lanai couldn’t be better. The people in the building were nice and a nice long pool was good for laps. Carl Smith beach right next-door was excellent for gentle swimming And snorkeling, and we saw a lot of turtles. I would definitely come back and stay in the penthouse. All the necessities were available in the kitchen, and the place was clean and tasteful. ”

”We enjoyed our stay here. It was a great home base for exploring Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and other sights on the Big Island. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfy. We walked to the ocean in the morning for great views of the coast and spent a lot of time on the screened porch enjoying the trees and flowers in the yard. They even grow their own pineapples!
