”Cute little place right by the lake and close to Mt. Fuji! The place was nice and clean. They provide great amenities like bicycle rental and other information for tourists. Staff was very kind as we were allowed to wait for a few hours until our bus came. My highlight was the bath as it was a very traditional experience with the yukata!”

”I only we didnt like was we only had 1 night to enjoy it. We wished we had more time to stay longer. It was so close to everything we wanted to do. Great isakaya with beautiful food just a short walk down the hill. It was great.”

”Clean and tidy. Very friendly staff. Lovely location in the trees with a view to Mt Fuji, wild deer and we were lucky to have a blanket of snow which made it awesome!”

”The guesthouse is lovely and if you are lucky you may see the mount Fuji from all the clouds. The walk to the lake is nice, through some small streets and plantations.
It is quite remote in the sense that often you have to take a train, bus and a taxi to get to the guesthouse. So plan for the long travel. There was no pick-up service offered and when leaving we got a ride because another family had a baby with them, but then it had to be on their schedule. ”

”Both of us visiting this ryokan was quite disappointed in this place. This place was our last visit on our two week trip in Japan and it came as a surprise that quality could suddenly drop this much.
But I have not visited any Ryokan before and cannot comment if this is normal.
