  • Talo sijaitsee rauhallisella alueella Ospreyssä, Sarasotan eteläpuolella. Talon hienostunut ulkoasu sisältää suuren makuuhuoneen rakennuksen oikealla puolella, jossa on suuri vaatehuone, kylpyhuone, jossa on ylimitoitettu kahden hengen suihku ja kylpyamme, jossa on sisäänrakennettu poreallas. Muut kolme makuuhuonetta sijaitsevat vasemmalta. Oversize Olohuone on varustettu nahkasohvat, täysin varustettu keittiö on avoin olohuone vain erotettu keittiö baari. Siellä on toinen olohuone suuri lasiluukku altaan reunalla sekä erillinen ylellisyyttä ruokailutila. Villa on ilmastoitu Keski valvontaa. Sitä ympäröi suuri mittakaavassa piha kauniita vanhoja trooppinen sekä sitrushedelmien puita. Suuri seulotaan allasalue sijaitsee takana L-muotoinen huvila. Oleskelualue altaan reunalla on osittain katettu ja näkymät tilavaa lämmitetty uima-allas sekä kaunis vesiputous.

Beautiful home and pool .Fruit / Avocado trees were delicious. Xtra towels and Beach toys / chairs were appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

I chose this property because so many past travelers raved about the layout, the amenities, and the outdoor setup and they were absolutely right about those features. The layout and overall space of the house are fantastic, providing plenty of room to relax. The screened-in pool area, natural waterfall, and hot tub are beautiful and were definitely the highlights of our stay. We also really appreciated the extra amenities provided, like the beach gear and extra towels, which made packing much easier. Additionally, the host was highly reachable and very pleasant to communicate with.However, I was surprised by the lack of cleanliness when we arrived. The pool area itself was quite dirty, and we had to spend our first morning sweeping the floors and cleaning all the touchable surfaces just to get it into a comfortable condition. Furthermore, the property is in need of a thorough deep dusting; the AC vents were visibly dusty, and the interior decorations had a noticeable layer of dust on them.It is a wonderful home with a spectacular outdoor area, but the housekeeping and turn-down service need to be stepped up to match the quality of the property itself.

A very pleasant stay

We were two couples who stayed here for two weeks and had a very pleasant stay. The house is very nice in a good and safe neighborhood. Close to all necessary services. The house was clean and everything in the house worked well. We used the outdoor area a lot which is very fun, very nice to sit there and also to have lunch or dinner outside. In the evening you can use the fireplace table if the weather is cold. Would definitely rent here again.

House during hurricane Milton

We didn’t actually get to stay in the house sadly due to the damage caused in hurricane Milton. The communication with the owner was second to none. His fair and communicative was excellent. I really hope we manage to stay at the house in the future which is in a great location

Wir haben 17 Tage in dieser tollen Unterkunft von Dagmar verbracht. Bereits vor unserer Anreise konnten wir diverse Rückfragen stellen, die uns den Start in unseren Urlaub erleichterten. Bei unserer Ankunft hat uns genau die Unterkunft erwartet, wie wir sie uns vorgestellt haben. Als während unseres Aufenthaltes Probleme am Haus aufgetreten sind, hat Dagmar unverzüglich reagiert. Zudem konnten wir uns direkt an den Nachbarn Mike wenden, welcher für Rat und Tat beiseite stand. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und würden diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall nochmal buchen. Die einzige Anmerkung, wobei man hierfür die Hintergründe nicht kennt: im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften der selben Kategorie, ist der Preis recht hoch. Da wir in der Nähe der Familie sein wollten, haben wir dieses in Kauf genommen. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt!

Bay Acres was our introduction to Osprey Florida. The location was ideal in a sense due to its proximity to a nice small dog park and several beaches specifically Siesta Key Beach. We also found Walmart very handy as it was essentially within walking distance. The home itself had a very good layout with its sliding glass doors leading to the pool. The solar blanket keeps the pool warmer though we didn’t use it. My family indicated they had everything they needed in terms of beach supplies, the kitchenware, the pool and bedrooms. Keep in mind this is a bit older than some of the more expensive Vrbo models closer to Siesta Kry but we were within a fifteen to twenty minute drive to Nikomos Beach as well and Venice Dog Beach. We were close to urgent care too. The kayak launch across the road was very handy and my son enjoyed kayaking to Spanish Point unhindered. Most of all our little puppy enjoyed chasing rabbits and squirrels. We also felt safe and comfortable. We found several very good restaurants nearby and really liked the family Thai restaurant. Nearby Selby Botanical Gardens was especially memorable and a day trip to Sarasota’s Ringling Art Museum added cultural charm. Thank you for being a great host! Our host accommodated our arrival and departure to make our trip run smoothly.

March Getaway

This place was all it was advertised to be. Everything you needed was supplied. Plenty of bath and beach towels. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with extras. Lots of items for the pool or beach. Close to Venice and Sarasota. Marianne was wonderful, it was nice meeting her. She took care of all our needs. Would stay again.

Very clean and comfortable, centrally located

We really enjoyed our stay at Dagmar's place. It was near Siesta Key/Sarasota and Nokomis/Venice area, which is where we wanted to vacation. The house was very clean and had all the essentials we needed to make some meals at the house. Plenty of towels and rags. Nice clean showers and jetted tub. I worked remotely a few days and Wi-Fi was the strongest in the living room. My dogs loved the screen in porch to watch wildlife in the yard. We met Marianne, and was such a pleasure! We would stay here again in the future!

Could not easily access front entrance bc of overgrown scrubs. 2 car garage advertised and the was one a one car garage that was so full of stored items that it made it difficult to get in/out of vehicle once parked. Five minute walk to beach was advertised but all accesses to beach in that neighborhood were posted “private property”. Grill and ice maker were listed as two of the amenities. Grill was in unopened box in garage unassembled and there was a sign posted on freezer door of refrigerator stating “ice maker does not work”. Listed stated there were restaurants within walking distance that were inaccurate and one is no longer even open. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. The mattress on my bed was hanging off one side and the pillows were so flat it was like sleeping without one. Inaccurate seating in living room. Listing advised there were two living rooms when in fact there was only one. Listing advertised “arcade/game room when there was only a foosball table in a small area that had a day bed in it. Linoleum was cracked/slit in several different areas of the house that had been taped with clear tape. One of the amenities listed was a waterfall that was actually on a timer and only ran a couple of hours in the afternoon. Water contacting the host I was advised “the neighbor” would assist us. The neighbor was very helpful but explained to us the host acted as if she was her property manager but she was not. Host advised this property was not a five star hotel.

We had issues from the time we finished exploring our Vrbo, starring with the hot tub, no instructions for use or switch to turn on. The TV in master bedroom was not working, I am one of those people who have to have a tv on to sleep. And there was no propane for the gas grill, that was listed on the amenities. The cleanness of the outside was just lacking, it was like they took the pool cover off and that was it, very disappointing. The pool itself was dirty, lots of bugs and the bottom of the pool!! Was just a disappointing arrival and didn’t get any better until the vacation was almost over!!

Unsatisfactory

The house its self was beautiful. The owner is German so it was not easy to communicate she referred everyone to the poor neighbor she has no property manager. The house didn't have anything for bathrooms or kitchen. The freezer ice maker didn't work the toaster didn't work. The stuff is all very old outdated and dirty. The pool heater and jets didn't work the pool guy never showed up so the first 4 days we couldn't use the hot tub. The toilet was broken the owner was upset that a plumber had to come fix it.

Nicely furnished and roomy. Owner should not have advertised ice maker as the ice maker turned out to be me having to empty trays each day. Ice maker had been broken for 3 years. Owner should buy a larger refrigerator with working ice maker. A garbage disposal would also be nice. The lanai with waterfall was lovely. Trying to heat the hot tub was a challenge. Eventually discovered that both pool and hot tub run on the same set temperature. Who wants a pool at 95? Or a hot tub at 80? Apparently it’s more costly to have separate thermostats installed. Owner charges additional $ for more than 4 occupants even though home was advertised as sleeping 8. Cleanliness of home was super-thanks Marianne!!

Great getaway

Home was wonderful in design spacious near everything by car. Spent 9 weeks and was sad to leave. Maryanne the coordinator was great and very helpful. Could use a little updating ice maker garbage disposal and pool cover. We enjoyed a wonderful stay

the house itself was clean but the pool area was not. there was so many cobwebs everwhere. Looked like no one had been there for awhile and was not cleaned before our arrival. no notes on the trash and when it should go out or how to use tv. Managers were very prompt when contacted and very helpful with that

Great location

We stayed at Bay Acres for two weeks & had a great time. It is in a great location within 15 minutes of Siesta Key. The house was plenty roomy for our guests. Nice size kitchen as well as four bedrooms. The highlight was the outdoor area with a large pool & hot tub. The floor off the kitchen area needs repaired/replaced. Marianne, the property manager, was very responsive & helpful. We hope to return

Relaxation vacation

Very beautiful home in a nice, quiet and convenient location. The pool is gorgeous. Marianne, the property manager, was a complete joy to deal with.

Difficult Post-trip Experience

We were going to give this property a 4-star rating as we overall had a good trip while we were there. The house was spacious, decently clean, and the check in process was smooth. The house is outdated, so there were baseboards that were falling apart, the fan in the master bedroom made loud sounds when on, and there was other wear and tear issues. However, our experience post-trip was quite difficult with the owners. After a week of our trip, they emailed us that they will be charging $200 for scratches on the master bathroom door. We disputed and then they sent us random pictures of a broken umbrella (we did not use one), stains on bedsheets (?), and told us that the house was in the worst condition. We thought it was highly disrespectful as I mentioned how we valued other people’s homes and even sent them pictures showing how clean we left their place. However, we did not take pictures of every room, so for anyone renting please make sure to take lots of pictures when you leave or they will charge you for whatever they wish. I would also recommend checking your credit card for expenses incurred as our company told us that they put a recurring charge of $200 on our card. We have disputed the charges but if you are renting with them please be sure to check.

Ouiet & Private

Wonderful quiet & private location. Homes was very clean and spacious and had a wonderful heated & caged pool with a waterfall, whirlpool, and lanai where we spent most of our time. Our communications with the owner and property manager were prompt and effective. We definitely will consider renting again!
