Le Cupole - Andromeda Apartment by Wonderful Italy

Palazzo Le Cupole is a stately palace comprising 4 apartments, located in the heart of Ostuni's historic centre, on a characteristic square overlooking the city's Cathedral.



The apartment, situated on the first floor accessible via a staircase (approximately 15 steps), opens onto the living area with a well-equipped open-plan kitchen, a dining table, a double sofa bed and a TV. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. A bathroom with shower, accessible from both bedrooms, completes the layout.



The apartment benefits from two balconies overlooking the splendid Cathedral of Ostuni, located next to the apartment: from here you can admire the splendid panorama, and in particular the façade of the right side nave and its rose window.



*Given its location, the apartment is not suitable for travellers seeking tranquillity, but is perfect for those who love nightlife! The accommodation is indeed located in a central and lively area; the presence of venues in the immediate vicinity could cause noise during evening and night hours.



*The bedroom with two single beds is equipped with a skylight that cannot be darkened.



*The apartment is located in a ZTL zone, we recommend leaving your car in one of the car parks outside the central area and enjoying the historic centre on foot.

Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Valle d'Itria. Its historic centre, of a blinding white, immense, culminates with the Cathedral (600 metres from the apartment) which imperiously dominates the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a clear and crystalline sea. Characteristic are its alleyways, Piazza della Libertà (5 minutes away) and the column of S. Oronzo which majestically protects the town.

Its countryside extends into the heart of the Valle d'Itria. A few kilometres away is Ceglie Messapica, a centre of tradition and food and wine culture, Cisternino, a village recognised amongst the most beautiful in Italy, Alberobello whose famous trulli have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnazia, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with evocative historic centres and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the Orient, whilst heading south we encounter first the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, capital of the Baroque. Moving towards the west there is Taranto, heart of Magna Graecia and finally Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.



The nearest airports and ports are Brindisi (30 minutes) and Bari (60 minutes).
