”Got in late but comms were clear should contact motel before 8pm to inform. Comfortable bed perfect for 2 room.”

”We had just a one night stay to get easily to the airport and the motel suited very well for that purpose. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful! The room, though, was not the cosiest or most practical one - a bit cold (it was autumn), no sink in kitchen etc.”

”Pros: Clean and tidy rooms with a micro, fridge, toaster, big tv etc. Cons: Location is a bit difficult if you don't have a car. Long walk to the train station.”

”Motel is otherwise ok, but you just can't sleep there because of the noise. There was some party going on in the hallway and in other rooms all night and terrible noise from music and people speaking very loud and the personnel did absolutely nothing about it. Besides that there is also a church next door that had very loud music all evening (but not at night) and the planes were flying over the hotel very low. So we didn't get to sleep at all the night before our 36 hour trip back to Europe,...

”Easy parking and access to the room. Lots of space, clean and fresh. Well placed cupboards, plugs and kettle area. Super impressed”

”Room was refurbished on the inside but the fit and finish was sub par - to the point where security was a concern for me. Most concerning was the flimsy thin ply patched over the main entrance door. The door between the lounge and bedroom wouldn’t shut due to bad fit / installation. Big gaps between the external sliding door and wall create drafts for wind and extra outside noise”

”Modern Clean tidy rooms perfect for a night away going to an event at the local events centre… restaurant good but a little small and didnt manage the groups from the event and shut early so we had to go to KFC for food!”

”Starland looks and probably is a remodeled Condo/AirBnb type development, so it has all the usual pluses and minuses that come with it. In other words, expect more of a rental unit type situation than either a hotel or motel. That being said, the remodeling was nicely done, the facilities are clean and secure, the beds are comfortable and best of all it is within a stone's throw of the Sylvia Park Mall. The price is affordable too, so if you want a no-frills and budget-friendly apartment unit...
