Asunnot – Outer Banks

”Absolutely recommend the sunset surf shack for a little getaway in OBX. The hosts Amber and Brett have a lovely home and were great with communication and any recommendations that you may need help with during your stay. Local to the beach and with what they offer in allowing use of the bikes for the path or if you want to take a paddle out in the bay they are very kind to offer that. Highly recommend staying again if we get the chance. Thank you again Amber and Brett for having us with you guys...

”10 stars! It was so wonderful to be nestled in this woodland retreat as the forest provided relief from the relentless Heat Wave over 4th of July (250th!) weekend. Also a peaceful escape as it sits fairly far away from the highway and retail areas. The stairs are long, but doable if you aren't carrying much. Colleen is best hostess ever! No, seriously, she IS the best out of ALL my travel stays. Sweet touches and treats everywhere. Definitely coming back here.”

”Cozy hideaway in the perfect location. Easy drive or walk to beaches and great restaurants.”

”Beautiful property and location”

”We didn't end up staying here, we had to get a hotel. This place was gross. Infested with cockroaches and you could see where many of them had been killed on the ceiling and walls, there were splattered bug remains. ”

”We met the host as we arrived and she was very nice and accommodating. The place had everything possible that we needed or wanted. It was private and fairly quiet. Had a nice resident cat that soothed the missing of our cats. Nice, private pool. About a 5 minute drive from the beach and all the local restaurants”

”Perfect get away for a few days, host is very good at responding and the sweetest. Place is cute and cozy and very clean! Would recommend! Great price too!”

”Overall great property. Getting across the highway takes some time but it’s so worth it!!!!”

”The location was the best part of this property. It is right by the beach and only a few minute walk will get you to the shore. The cleanliness is the biggest issue with this property. The property was filthy especially the kitchen and bedroom areas. The bed sheets had a horrible musty smell to them. The bed is also very uncomfortable and possibly broken. The utilities all worked fine in the kitchen but nothing was cleaned properly.”

”The whole apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Restaurants and stores were all very close to the property which was nice.”

”The property is so well organized and makes awesome use of the small space. Has everything you need and is a perfect location. So close to the beach and shops/restaurants within walking distance”

”Property, pool and condo were extremely clean”

”I could not say enough great things about this property. It was incredibly clean, the coffee each morning was a wonderful touch, and the hot tub was amazing. Being able to cruise around on the bikes was phenomenal, and both the shower and bathtub were exceptional. The hosts were fantastic as well. A bad storm came through during our stay, and we briefly lost power. I messaged them, and they immediately checked in to make sure we were safe and okay.We slept wonderfully, and overall, it was truly a...

”Kim and Mike were very kind and hospitable ”

”Absolutely wonderful stay in Kitty Hawk. The property was perfect. The host was supportive and friendly. Check in and check out were easy and simple. Great location, fair price, and a superb experience. Highly recommend!”

”Very clean and a great location- only a short walk to the beach and it's also within walking distance to a few different restaurants. We also loved sitting on the balcony in the morning with our coffee. Would definitely stay here again.”

”It was ok. You should probably mention the small house is attached to large house. A couple things weren’t working. The outdoor shower. The toilet seat was broken. Overall with it.”

”Beautiful setting .”

”Truly an exceptional stay. The treetop is exactly as described. It looks out over the treetops and you can sit on the porch and enjoy the birds and sunset. The interior is chic and comfortable - and we slept soundly in the queen bed. Lisa, the hostess, was wonderful and inviting. I would highly recommend the Treetop.”
