We have stayed before and the hotel was excellent but thos trip breakfast took over an hour and in the end we had to leave before the cooked breakfast arrived. Not ideal.

Stayed here recently and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The overall condition of the property feels quite poor and in need of refurbishment. Fantastic cottage, and host, very clean and well equipped. Lovely furnishings and very comfortable bed. Close to a lovely pub and a short drive to the town. We used a good taxi service. Great area for walkers. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything you need, very comfortable bed and great log burner, friendly host. NOTE: not really mountain side but can’t leave that off the rating.

Orton Hall, Royalist-sviitti
Beautiful property, very well equipped. Very helpful and friendly host. Added bonus to be able to use the spa at hotel in Penrith. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful get away.
