”5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options....

Petit déj délicieux (confiture d'orange excellente), on s'est fait gâté, merci pour cet accueil par des hôtes aussi chaleureux. Région superbe, sans touriste en fin de saison c'est très authentique, ce coin du Péloponnèse est magnifique: mer, nature, paysages, restos, gens adorables partout.”

”This is one of the best hotels I have *ever* stayed at. Beautiful rooms at a historic hotel in the middle of an olive orchard, a 15 minute drive from Monemvasia. The manager came out to meet us when we parked, knew who we were and brought us to the room prior to my coming to check in. The included breakfast the next morning was fantastic, huge variety of freshly prepared foods. Incredible experience, thank you!”

”So far the best place I have been around the Peloponneso’s area. Everything is new and you see a lot of efforts to care about every detail, from the welcome checkin to the end of the trip. The garden and pool are amazing, the breakfast with view is another big plus, you can have service,food and drinks basically all day long. During my last day of staying I’ve had to work and the wifi is strong enough also the external areas. Totally recommend it”

”This property within the walls of Monemvasia was beyond amazing. The character alone, proximity to the square and restaurants along with a private courtyard was beyond our expectations. Just a flight of stairs below is a swim area, so unique that you have to say you’ve done it! Be sure to direct message the property before you arrive, they will make sure to greet you and arrange a porter! The stairs are a lot so pack smart and light! We drove and got lucky with parking … but there isn’t a lot! ...
