Diablo Lake is a reservoir in the North Cascade mountains of northern Washington state, United States. Created by Diablo Dam, the lake is located between Ross Lake and Gorge Lake on the Skagit River at an elevation of 1,201 feet (366 m) above sea level.
The unique, intense turquoise hue of the lake's water is attributed to the surrounding glaciers that grind rocks into a fine powder that is carried into the lake through creeks. That fine powder stays suspended in the lake, giving the water its brilliant color. #nationalpark #roadtrip

”Our 4-day stay was outstanding. Hosts were available and helpful on checkin. We would definitely return to this beautiful retreat in Veneta OR. Easy commute back to all points in Eugene via either side of Fern Ridge Lake. Both units were sparkling clean and very well appointed. There were interesting, unique surface, wood & tile design surface details at every turn. We enjoyed the view and gas fire pit under awnings that sheltered us from refreshing rain. ”

”This property is absolutely beautiful. The river runs just below the area and the sound of the water is so nice and calming. They have coffee for the mornings which i truly appreciated! 2 seperate buildings for bathrooms and a separate space with showers (partially outside, rock floors and open roof! Also access to the river with steps made of large rocks. Everyone was helpful and friendly. ”

”I've never been in a yurt before so I'm excited to try. It is indeed a glamourous tent. It's kinda like luxurious camping. That particular weekend it was the end of some workshop so I get to meet some interesting people. Everyone is super friendly and nice. At first I was a little concerned there is only one bathroom and shower for everybody. Later found out they have 2 more outdoor showers and another toilet closer to the yurts. The yurts have no power although you can go to the community room...
