”Booked room online looked very nice. At arrival I was very surprised place was very very quiet signs were cell phones couldn’t be used. Booked a king size bed got a queen or full size partner and I couldn’t even move at night that’s how small bed was. Little disappointed room had ants got on top of my pizza I bought the night before. Breakfast area had ants as well. I personally wouldn’t stay there again place was to quiet and nothing like the website.”

There is air conditioning in every guest room. The large living room has a TV (so do the rooms) as well as a billiard table. ”We found the spot last minute due to rain making camping difficult. They were very helpful and accommodating for our late check in. Much less expensive than staying in Nevada City while still being an easy 10 min drive back to town to explore downtown Nevada City and get dinner. In the morning we had a good/filling buffet style breakfast before getting back on the road to explore the country roads and swimming holes. What they don’t tell you is that there is no electricity in the tents until you check in. I would not have stayed here had I known that information. A woman was actually using a curling iron in the restaurant at breakfast because of the electrical situation. They offer you recharging battery packs and a couple of lanterns but no where to hang them. One night we asked for charged...

”We stayed here twice. Once at the beginning of our trip and then once at the end. Both rooms were very nice and the bathrooms were spacious as well. We enjoyed having a regular size refrigerator to put our food in and the two shared living rooms were very nice. It was enjoyable to go sit on the deck and just listen to the birds and read. I never met any staff, which seems to be the way they do things here in Alaska.”
