”Lovely room, very comfy bed, loved the balcony overlooking the bridge and the river. We had the breakfast which was good value - nice it was served on a tray, we could take to our room or we decided to have it outside. We'd have liked some seats here and there in the island to sit by the river.”

The host is fluent in 3 languages, the room is perfectly appointed, and the pool and lounge areas are a lovely spot to unwind. Breakfast was perfectly simple French Village style, and enjoyed best on the patio. If you want to avoid the over priced B and Bs of Giverney, or the cookie cutter hotels of Vernon, this is the place...

”What a wonderful place to stay! I can't begin to express how welcoming and friendly he and his family were. They went above and beyond in every aspect to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The history of the chateau is incredible and he's very knowledgeable about it and the region. The dinners and breakfasts are delicious home-made meals prepared with care. ”Nous avons passez un excellent weekend dans ce lieux très acceuillant. La maison très fonctionnel et bien équipée est au milieu d'un cadre depaysant et apaisant. Merci à Chantal de nous avoir allumé un feux fans la cheminée ( séjour en Novembre) pour nous acceuillir et pour sa grande flexibilité pour les horaires d'arrivée et de départ. Nous avons envie de revenir aux beau jours afin de profiter du très grand jardin qui est très bien entretenu.”
