Close to Wolf Creek, Fish San Juan River, Escape the Crowds

Swiss Village is located in the San Juan River Village area about 5 minutes to downtown Pagosa Springs, just 15 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski area, with very quick and easy access to HWY 160.

This cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You enter the cabin through a mud room / laundry room. Down a short hall is the main living area with living room, dining area and kitchen. The living room has a new smart TV, internet only, cozy couches and chairs, with wonderful views of the mountains and forest. The dining room is large enough for the gang to play games and enjoy meals. There is a gas fireplace in the dining area, as well as, access to the deck where you can enjoy the peace and quiet, a glass of wine or your morning coffee. The kitchen is well stocked and ready for you to feed the gang.

Down the hall is a king bedroom with new smart TV, a large bathroom with a tub and shower. Also, it has a nice sauna to relax after a full day.

Up the stairs are 2 more bedrooms and another full bathroom. One room has a king bed and a new smart TV. The other bedroom has two full size beds, a TV with DVD and VHS player.

All trailers, RV's, campers or other recreation vehicles must be approved prior to arrival to be allowed on premises.

This home is NOT pet friendly.

This home does not have AC.

Please note there is a $50 cancellation fee that applies to all cancellations made after booking.

This home is a beautiful cabin nestled in the woods. There is plenty of wildlife to enjoy and you will be enjoying the true Colorado mountain experience.

Weekend Ski Trip to Wolf Creek

The cabin was perfect for our group of four. It would be very comfortable for 6 guests as well. I would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay near the ski area or Pagosa Springs. Checking in and out was super easy. The property managers were very helpful with the process and reached out to be sure everything was set up for our stay. The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and everything worked perfectly. We will stay here again when we return to Wolf Creek.

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was perfect for our family. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. We never had an issue communicating with the property manager. It was very relaxing to sit on the porch in the morning with a cup of coffee and enjoy the mountain views.

Loved our stay!

We love pagosa!! We make it a point to go every year! The house was amazing, however make sure you have 4wd because the driveway WILL NEED IT! We have a 2nd suburban and had to chain up to get in and out the drive way. No big deal though as it didn’t take away from our visit. Our kids even locked us out and the host were amazing and ran a key to get us back in!! Definitely give 5 stars and A+ rating! Beds were comfy house was very clean and accommodating!

Great property

The area was beautiful, cabin was clean and larger than expected. My only complaint is that the downstairs bathroom had a strange smell and there was not place to put your soaps in the shower. Other than that it was a great stay!

Great ski base

House was great; exactly as advertised. Futon couch in one of the bedrooms was nice so kids could sleep in same room but separate beds, though it would not have worked for anyone larger than our 10 year old. Heater in living room was lovely to warm up in front of after a cold day on the mountain. Lots of heaters and blankets around the house. Plenty of room to store boots and coats in entry way. Nice touch with the snack bucket upon arrival, and it was great having normal spices there so we didn't have to purchase for a short timeframe. Could use a few plastic cups for kids, but we made the glass work with no incidents. Loved how easy the check out procedures were. Overall, very nice place and location, half way between town and the mountain.

I loved the fact that it was in the midyof everything.

The cabin was super comfy. Felt like home, so much the children cried when we left. The location was a bit loud bc of the hwy but overall a perfect family vacation. Minutes away from everything was the icing on the cake.

Golden Aspen Trip

We were on a sightseeing adventure to see the aspens. We found our gold all around Pagosa Springs. It was breathtaking! Unfortunately, the view from the cabin wasn’t what we’d hoped it would be. Also, the cabin is very close to the main highwayx and the traffic noise was disappointing. It would have been appreciated if we’d known prior to our booking. The cabin was nice enough, but we probably won’t stay there again.

Great cabin!

Perfectly cozy without being cramped. Kitchen was well-stocked with decent cooking utensils and pantry items. The only downside was the road noise, but other than that, it was perfect!

Loved it

Very clean, and cozy. Close enough to get to places in a reasonable time but still feels somewhat secluded. As others have mentioned, you can hear highway noise if you're on the balcony but that is no reason to pass this place up in my opinion. We messaged the property manager for suggestions on places to fish in the area, and she was prompt and helpful in her suggestions. Would definetely stay again, already trying to plan the next trip to bring the family

Nice rental, but with room for improvement

Overall, the property was clean and efficient, however we were disappointed in the location of the property in relation to highway. Unless you do some upfront research, this isn’t exactly obvious in the listing. Additionally, a third party property management company runs the VRBO listing. As a result, there are a lot of added rules and stipulations which made it very difficult for me to relax. (I understand this may not be an issue for others, but wanted to put it out there for those with high anxiety.) Due to the weather, we lost power for a few hours on the first afternoon/evening. Unfortunately, there were only a few small candles in the bedroom, so we had to go buy lights. Not wanting to end this on a bad note, communication with the property management company was very easy, and although one of our dogs did have an accident on the carpet, we still received our rental deposit back. As this is a relatively new listing, I would expect things to improve with time and additional renters.
