We loved the string lights on the front porch, electric fireplace, comfy beds, and chatty chickens in the yard. The owners thought of everything you could need - the coffee, shampoo and conditioner, and laundry detergent were really thoughtful touches to include.The home also offered privacy and solitude, yet it is located in a neighborhood...

”We loved this property! So relaxing nestled in the rain forest! House was beautiful and one of the cleanest we’ve seen. Very well taken care of. We loved the hot tub nestled in the trees. This place is only 10 mins from volcano viewing which was so convenient. A few restaurants and a store close by. We loved the farmers market on Saturday. ”

”This is our second time staying here. The yurts are lovely, comfortable and well equipped. The central skylight shows dazzling stars at night. Communication with Lisa is excellent and speedy and helpful. Love love love the view of South point from up where the weather is delightfully cool, but not cold. We hope to go back again if we can! ”Aloha, what can I say a dream stay! Absolutely beautiful property! Loved the dreamy backyard and surroundings! The cabin had all the amenities you needed for your stay. The hot tub was a plus especially after a long hike! Thank you. The only thing I would suggest is the print out the wifi passwords very hard to read so couldn’t use. Other than that great stay. ”We had a lovely stay at the Maile treehouse. The check in was easy and the house was very comfortable and clean. We loved the yard and took many walks up the road. It's a great location and really makes you feel like you're in nature with all the native birds around. One thing I would note, is that there are some mosquitoes, so we unfortunately had to keep the windows closed most of the time. We look forward to coming back! ”
