”Had a lovely time away in this comfortable cottage. Super clean, had everything you needed, would highly recommend. Lovely decor. Location was great as close to many places we visited.”

”Ibis did not provide breakfast on day 1 and we had to go next door to the sister hotel Mercure. Following day Ibis was supposed to provide breakfast but when we went down tables hadn't been cleared and there was little food. We were told there was a problem with the kitchen and we had to go next door again to the Mercure. That night we went to the bar and it was covered in dirty glasses and the girl behind the bar was barely coping. They seem to have a shortage of staff or at the very least...

”As perfect as previous years and the fact that the Christmas tree is up despite it still being the last weekend in November is a lovely treat and thanks to Steve & Tina for doing that. I will be booking for 2026!”

”The breakfast was made of decent quality ingredients, it tasted delicious! James, Christine & Co are lovely, super friendly and want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! The pictures don't do the place justice. It is a relaxed atmosphere with a self-service bar with available snacks. The Paignton Pier with arcades, shops & other dining options is 10 minutes walk on the flat. James & Christine have lots of amazjng options to help cater your stay to you. ”

”The only reason for the lower condition rating is the visible mould around the master bedroom window which needs remediation. The new wooden wardrobe in that room is currently unusable due to a strong musty smell. Aside from this, the barn is beautifully presented with many thoughtful details. ”Good location, easy check-in, cosy but clean bedroom and modern bathroom. Good selection for tea and coffee and the mini fridge was very useful. Great value for money, would definitely stay again.”

”2nd visit here so was slightly disappointed with the room this time as the bathroom was tiny and the shower was so small and had a high step to get in it i was unable to use it due to issues with one of my legs so had to strip wash for 3 days and just put my head in when washing hair.”
