”Overall it is pretty good! I travelled with my elderly mom and the staff is really helpful. The only suggestion is the repellent. I have got so many mosquitoes bite! ”

”Lapsiperheille tarkoitettu hotelli sijaitsi kaukana kaikesta. Hotellialueella lapsille paljon aktiviteetteja, mutta ravintoloissa palvelut eivät toimineet alkuunkaan: tunnin odotusaika lapsille on pitkä ja yleensä siihen mennessä sait vasta tilattu.

”I am pretty honest when it comes to hotels and reviews but have to say this is the most beautiful place to stay. Our room had floor to ceiling windows and we could open 3 sides and look into lush nature with a great plunge pool and a fabulous hotel pool.This is stars above anywhere else we stayed in thailand. I dont want to leave a review as I want it to remain a hidden gem! The beautiful setting and one of a kind rooms are very aesthetic with great attention to detail and with the environment...
”Das Grand Mercure Khao Lak Bangsak ist ein wunderschönes, gepflegtes Hotel zu einem sehr guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis (in der Nebensaison!) Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und wurden jederzeit sehr zuvorkommend und höflich bedient. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Auch das Frühstücksbuffet ist gigantisch und hat die Note hervorragend verdient. Wir können das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen. Einziges Manko: Das Meer ist in Bangsak in der Regenzeit sehr wild und man kann kaum baden. ”

”Aivan ihana uusi hotelli, jossa jokainen yksityiskohta oli mietitty. Kaunis miljöö, hyvä palvelu ja rauhallinen tunnelma takasivat viihtyvyyden. Huoneessa oli hyvää sänky, minibaarissa ilmaiset tuotteet (ei aklkoholi). Uima-allas kaunis ja hyvä näkymä merelle. Hotellilla on ilmainen kuljetus Khao Lakin keskustaan muutaman kerran päivässä.
Ainoa miinus oli ravintoloiden hinnat, tosi kallista ja ruoka ei kuitenkaan mitään erityistä. Olut ja drinkin kalliita myös. Lähellä on kuitenkin hyviä...
”Very big resort with fantastic 3 different pool areas and quiet beach with plenty of sunbeds. Rooms are well maintained and mostly in good shape.
We had a problem with our first room because it had strong smell of mold. Staff in the reception was very kind and helpful and they did their very best to find another room for us which was much appreciated as my spouse and I are both allergic to mold. Finally, the 4th room that we checked had a fresh and healthy air.

We even broke a key and it was not a problem. We also stayed one night longer than we booked this was also not a problem.
It is in general really cute the rooms and the pool area are completely enough and it is very quiet so you can really enjoy ur vacation.

”Relaxing holiday. It's a few minutes walk to the restaurants and shops in Khao Lak, but the hotel was very nice. They don't have a direct beach access, so you can't walk to the beach restaurants until in the afternoon when the tide is low. The closest restaurant by the same name is not very good and also the hotel's food was bland, but breakfast was good. The staff was really friendly!”

"This was already our fourth stay at The Sands – and once again, it exceeded our expectations. Our kids absolutely love this hotel, and so do we as adults. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing and fun family holiday.
The water park is a hit with the little ones, and the beach is stunning - clean, peaceful, and just steps away. We also appreciate how easy it is to reach the main road with just a short walk, where you’ll find plenty of shops, a 7/11, and great local restaurants.
The Sands has truly become one of our favorite places to return to, and we can’t wait for our next visit. Highly recommended for families looking for a perfect balance of fun and relaxation!"
