âBeautiful ole hotel, with charming interior and feeling of a time-travel. The hotel really is worth a visit but is maybe in need of slight upgrade. We went there in November, and the off-season timing gave our visit an additional plus: everything was quiet apart from some sounds of renovation. âPerfect location is probably the best competitive edge of this hotel. It is perfect in the middle of the town. I was a bit worried before checking in how the room would look like as pictures doesn't show the facilities quite well but was happy to find out the room was quite modern and comfortable for the price. AC could have been just a bit more efficient and it was not possible to adjust it from the room but this was something I didn't communicated with the staff as it still worked quite well,...
âWe would rate this hotel 10 stars if we could. Daniela and the rest of the staff were PHENOMENAL. They were great with our precocious 5-year-old. The room and bathroom were incredibly spacious by European standards, and you can tell the care and pride the staff take with their jobs. The 5th floor terrace is the PERFECT place for breakfast or an aperitivio. The hotel is 200 feet from the ferry to the 3 Barromean islands. Daniela gave us several suggestions for places to visit that were spot on....
âThe hotel was an excellent choice for a weekend trip to Stresa. The location is central and close to the beach, but not next to a busy road. An iron was not available and there is no experience with breakfast, but otherwise the service and accommodation are really smooth. You could park your car for an extra fee in the parking garage under the hotel, really easy!â
