”We stayed one night in this cute hotel. Room was generally clean and bed was comfortable. We had no interaction with staff as everything was done through text, which worked well. We appreciated the use of bikes. Didn’t use the pool but it looked nice and was warm. Unfortunately the room smelled like dog and I am mildly allergic. Previous pet friendly hotels I’ve stayed in have certain rooms that pets stay in and others that are pet free. I should have looked more closely at that before booking. ”

”The Dunes was perfect for we needed for our visit. Location location location! The staff was wonderful and housekeeping went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. As noted in other reviews, the towels are a little gray and the rooms are a little dated, but I would stay again. The pool area was great!”

”A very cute adults only boutique hotel within walking distance to the main Palm Springs shopping district. There are only 8 rooms surrounding a pool in the center. There is minimal staff onsite, however they respond quickly to text message inquiries. Rooms are large, with a kitchenette (refrigerator and microwave only). Bathroom in room 8 was on the small side, with small stand in shower. Its very quiet here, we really enjoyed our stay.”

”Staff and amenities could be improved. Upon arrival on a Saturday night it was raining and there was no staff member to help me find the room nor to help with my luggage. When I called the number to reach a front desk person they never called me back nor texted as I also couldn’t find the ice machine. Amenities were lacking, no shower caps.”

”The location and the staff were wonderful. However, there are no televisions in the rooms, the blow dryer was broken, and the step on trashcan was broken. There are no room darkening shades so you will wake up at the crack of, but on a good note it’s nice to have a little kitchenette, and the staff and the small touches were great”
