”No negatives! All positive. Stay here!”

”The hostel is situated in a residential area. Parking is available on a residential street. The check-in process with Travis was easy. Minor issue when showing me to my private room as someone else had the same first name and accidentally showed me to that room first. But was quickly corrected. The room itself was functional. The bed was firm. The shared bathrooms was clean, but showing its age with various broken tiles. I was only staying one night in Detroit and this is definitely an option...

”Staff was so friendly and kind. Room was absolutely beautiful. My only complaint for a not 5 star was that there were slightly large bugs in our room, not on the bed but on the floor, I’m only assuming since it’s dark with the solar lighting. Other than that this place was absolutely stunning and I will be returning!”

”I get that operating costs have risen but it seems on a stay of 4 nights there should be some level of room service done. There is not enough drying space for towels nor adequate air flow in the room to fully dry towels. This should be addressed.”

”Beautiful old Victorian home with bits of history included. Close to Wayne State, museums and restaurants. Not far from downtown and sports venues.”

”The refrigerator was not cool enough. We kept a bucket of ice in the refrigerator to keep it cool. I wish there was non diary milk so I could have eaten oatmeal. I am lactose intolerant. Otherwise, we appreciated the other amenities.”

”Front desk was not very personable. Room was okay, wrapper on the floor, smudges on the mirror and shower leaked everywhere. Expected better for the money.”

”The room was pretty good actually, and the price was low; however, you get what you pay for. The towels were pathetic. Thin and small and not absorbent. The paper plates for the free breakfast were the cheapest and flimsiest you can buy. The plastic utensils were similarly flimsy. It was obvious that the hotel management did not want to spend more on amenities than absolutely necessary.”

”We picked this hotel specifically for the king size bed and trundle bed combo. There were no sheets or blankets for the trundle bed, and no blankets available at all for the entire time we stayed there. We were told other guests stole the blankets, and they didn't seem to care that a lack of bedding took away the value of the room. At no time during our 5 day stay did they try to provide a blanket, even after calling the corporate office to make them aware of the situation. The breakfast wasn't...

”Make sure to have ear plugs it can get noisy from the street”

”I knew I didnt book a 5 star hotel - just needing a room to crash for 1 night; however, I wasn’t expecting to check into an unsafe rundown dump. Pictures were definitely deceiving. This is by far the worst hotel/motel I have ever booked. It was so bad we considered taking the loss checking out and staying elsewhere. When you check in you don’t check in the lobby but through a bullet proof glass window. The room felt like a prison cell the drawers from the dresser were all missing, the room...

”Bed was comfortable. Pillows flat. Told to take out our garbage- was a bit weird. Food was left in refrigerator from previous guest. It is close to highway. Easy off and on.”

”We loved this hotel and wished we would have been able to stay for more than one night. Very nice and spacious room. Comfortable bed and pillows! Quick service and decent breakfast. We did not use the pool but it looked clean. The hotel itself was very quiet as well and staff were great.”
