”Excellent friendly hotel. Ample parking, clean and comfortable rooms. Restaurant excellent. Owners are very friendly. Nothing too much trouble. There was a minor set back with checking in. Check in from 4 but door locked. It was a little frustrating as I’d been working all day but wasn’t waiting too long. Hopefully was a one off as I will be surely checking in again when I’m in the area. ”

”The room was clean and well presented in a pretty idyllic location. Quite and not very looked. Local pud was within a 10 minute walk and they served great food. The pud overlooked a river and in the summer months there seating available to be able to sit along side the river. We were provided with tea, coffee and biscuits. ”Room was very small but well organised. While the noise from the pub downstairs was barely discernible, the noise from other guests returning to their rooms was loud.”

”The breakfast was amazing. Select your choice the night before with your selected time - worked great for us. Staff were great. The room was also good. Great experience all round for us as we attended a festival locally. Brilliant three night stay . ”
