"What an exceptional home. All that you need and more beautiful in person! The pool is perfect for a refreshing dip- and as a nice alternative to the ocean which is only steps away. At night you hear monkeys in the trees above- while the nearly silent air conditioners keep you cool and comfortable. Richard arranged for cab service to the airport, helped coordinate the delivery of ATVs and was extraordinarily responsive to any request. (But there wasn’t anything lacking!). "This home was very pretty. The property is lovely and the management was wonderful. The house was very clean and the beach access is great. Unfortunately the listing doesn’t let you know that it is directly next to Banana Beach (it shares a wall with the bar) so it is very loud with music/a dj on in the day and night. "Ivan’s house was just as described. You open the front gate and you’re on the beach. You don’t need a car if you want to hang around town or go to the beach. Stores and restaurants are a very short walking distance. Zuma tours is on the same property so tours are a no brainer if you want to book a trip to Tortuga island or something else fun. "Skip. The host listed the property as a 2 minute walk to the beach and it was a 10-12 min 4x4 drive challenge. Since we planned to be able to walk we checked out and asked for a refund. He has not done so to make the situation right. Santa Teresa has been taken over by tourists and developers and not your typical Costa Rica pura vida experience.
