”When we arrived at the reception desk the person at the desk was very polite but then it went down hill some of the staff are unapproachable this is not the hotel we came to three years ago the breakfast was alright the room was basic there was no fridge.”

”Upon arrival the staff were very friendly, however things went down hill from there. We were shown to room 1( Spa Gill ) which looked really nice on the website. As we entered the room it looked nice and clean but the bed looked like the mattress was very thin and not quite what we expected. The bottles of water which were complimentary were really warm on an extremely hot day. There was no fridge or safe in the room, but a sign saying valuables are left at your own risk! ”Helpful and flexible with uncertainty over bookings, and the accommodation was at least satisfactory in general... but there was drastically inadequate parking for a full hostel, and we were not given all the necessary info about how to gain access to the buildings ! ( a helpful resident who happened to be up late saved us from standing outside in the cold and dark. Make sure the person on the desk not only gives over the FULL keypad entry number...but also HOW to access the key pad in order...

”Did not like the abscence of humans until breakfast. The cook was obliging in making me a bacon butty for breakfast. The bed was comfy and the hotel was clean but a wee tired.”

”The cottage was beautiful, very clean with everything we needed. It was so peaceful! Hot tub was brilliant, so relaxing first thing in the morning watching the sunrise. Hosts were fantastic, great communication and really helpful. There were so many lovely places to visit in the surrounding area. Our favourites were Pately Bridge, Brimham Rocks and Stump Cross Caverns. We would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to everyone!”
