Great location to stay in park city
We loved our weekend get away in park city with our kids. It’s always nice to have a great place to stay that has the capability to cook your own meals.
The pool and hot tub were decently sized and it starts out shallow enough our 5 year old could easily play in the lower end without a life jacket. There were lots of towels in the pool area and they were a good size.
We had plenty of clean towels to accommodate up to 8 people. The laundry machine and dryer combo worked well and helped keep us in clean clothes.
The dishwasher cleaned the dishes effectively and there were plenty of dishes to make it through a meal or two before you’d need to clean them. We only ate cereal and sandwiches there aside from the pizza we picked up and baked for dinner one night.
3 TVs were available. We never used the one in the master. There was a couch plenty big for our family of 7 to sit close together and watch a movie.
The few small issues we experienced were as follows:
*we struggled with the the oven temperature and keeping it hot enough to cook our pizza. I’m not sure if it was a user error or an issue with the oven itself. We hit bake, set the temp, and then start. It went into a preheat and after it reached temp it would slowly cool off and we’d start the process over, even though it was technically already on and should have been maintaining temperature.
*The second was that we aren’t firm bed sleepers and the king size bed was just that. More of a preference thing really, but something to keep in mind.
*My kids didn’t like that the main bath didn’t stay locked when they wanted to shower. The lock button would randomly pop back out after it had been pushed in.
*lastly when we came to check in at 7pm there was no one at the hotel desk or answering the phone. There was only a sign that said “sorry we missed you”. We didn’t know if anyone was coming back to the desk or not. They eventually did, but there were a few minutes of concern where we wondered what to do with a van full of kids and all of our stuff.
Overall, this property was as advertised. We had a great time and any issues were completely minor. If we venture that way again in the future I have no doubt we will happily book with park city host again. Thank you for a comfortable place to stay.
