”It was our first trip to Costa Rica, so didn't know where to go. We were thinking Tamarindo first, but when found this hotel, decided to stay in Playa Grande - and we did the best choice! ”Hotel El Manglar is maybe my most favorite hotel EVER! The grounds are beautiful!! The staff is so kind and helpful. Dylan and Georgia at the front desk were just incredible! The beach is stunning and the private path to the beach is magical! Our villa was comfortable and very clean. It had a king size bed, large shower, nice little kitchen and sitting area. ”This is a great property and Juan, our host while on site, served us great breakfasts and was extremely polite and accommodating with any needs or desires. I love this property and will be staying there again and as often as possible. There is some construction on both sides of the hotel that might bother some, but it just wasn’t an issue for us. We were out exploring, beaching, and surfing during the day. Rooms, parking, and proximity to town were fantastic! ”

”Owner was amazing. I had a delayed flight and they checked up on me and even gave me a ride from a nearby hotel as I was having a hard time getting Uber rides within Pinilla. Internet was strong and I was able to work remotely without issues during my meetings. The room is comfy and the property is just excellent. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family”

”The property is in an excellent location with easy access to the beach and local restaurants. The bungalow was spacious and comfortable for our family. We spent a lot of time on the patio and the pool was refreshing after a day on the beach. Dave was very helpful and made our stay easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend! ”

”We had a wonderful stay at the studios: location is great close to flamingo, conchal and penca beaches; the place is cozy and it makes you feel like home; they have thought about every single detail to make your stay unforgettable. Pool and fire place are great.
Communication was easy, quick, helpful and super friendly.

”The property is located in a good spot, away from the craziness of downtown but close enough you can walk. The beach area in front is one of the surfing hotspots if that's what you are looking for. Mainly I would say the staff at this place is the best anywhere that we've been in years. They are friendly, helpful and all around amazing.”
