”It was our first trip to Costa Rica, so didn't know where to go. We were thinking Tamarindo first, but when found this hotel, decided to stay in Playa Grande - and we did the best choice! What we wanted was peace and beautiful nature, and that's what we got. Playa Grande is amazing, so beautiful and quiet, only surfers there. ”Hotel El Manglar is maybe my most favorite hotel EVER! The grounds are beautiful!! The staff is so kind and helpful. Dylan and Georgia at the front desk were just incredible! The beach is stunning and the private path to the beach is magical! Our villa was comfortable and very clean. It had a king size bed, large shower, nice little kitchen and sitting area. ”This is a great property and Juan, our host while on site, served us great breakfasts and was extremely polite and accommodating with any needs or desires. I love this property and will be staying there again and as often as possible. There is some construction on both sides of the hotel that might bother some, but it just wasn’t an issue for us.
