Although we were gone most of the day, we enjoyed coming home and hanging out by the pool together, enjoying the gorgeous views of Manuel Antonito, while chef Ricardo and his wife Alba prepared dinner. ”Casa de Sol was the perfect house for our multi-generation family trip ( 7 adults, 2 children 3,5) The house is set up so everyone has privacy yet wonderful group spaces, with breathtaking balcony views. ”Great air conditioned place, across from the beach, but have to go through the resort across the street, just don't go in their pool, as I did. I did enjoy the modern home. Awesome except for the road noise, but I slept through it. I watched movies on the tv.”

”Pros: Kind, responsive property managers, close to beach and local food nearby. Cons: Roaches. I was beyond mortified to have had my leftovers in a to-go box in the refrigerator and upon opening to Re-heat a cockroach about 1 1/2 - 2 inches long scurried out!!! Everything we had, that we’d opened we threw out. Upon leaving the room, at about 3:45a we were packing and cleaning our dishes and saw again baby roaches rushing to hide into the walls which confirmed there are roaches in the unit....

”We enjoyed every minute of being g at the house, either in the pool or on the terrace, surrounded by all the vegetation and amazed by the show Mother Nature put up for us during our stay: monkeys, macaws, toucans..iguanas.. The house had everything we needed, one thing they could improve is the tv channels.. we didn’t mind cause we were not there to watch tv, but with little ones that could unwind watching some shows at the end of the day…. Otherwise, everything was awesome. And Andre was great...
