”I hadn’t stayed at a spot like this before, but I found the unique experience suited me well! I really enjoyed my stay at The Block. I booked a twin bed in the male-only 8-bed room and it was great! Super clean, comfortable bed, well kept common areas and bathroom. The bar was especially superb. Struck up a great convo with the bartender and talked hockey for hours. I didn’t need to use the community kitchen or other facilities, but they appeared to be just as good as everything else.

”Great location, cosy room, the included spa is just a great addition to the stay. Close to lots of places to visit and eat. Friendly staff, great service. Has everything you need for winter stay, humidifier and extra heater are in the room, mini fridge, microwave. The beautiful view from the balcony, the lake right next to the hotel, breakfast cafe, overall we were very happy to stay here!”
