”The ownerfamily was very friendly and helpful. Lady of the house even booked a table for us in the nearby pub. The room was pretty big, the doublebed was comfortable, but the "lonely" bed wasn't so much comfortable. Our breakfast was traditional english style, although pretty salty and greasy. Our roomview was amazing towards the garden.”

The breakfast was good with fresh fruit, granola, pastries and of course the full english breakfast as well. They also provided a container of milk which stayed cold overnight in an insulated metal thermos and sugar...
”Yhden päivän ja yön matkalla Stonehengen kiville hotelli toimi hienosti. Parkkipaikka aivan hotellin edessä, joskin ohikulkeva tie piti jonkinlaista meteliä yöaikaan. Ystävällinen, nuori henkilökunta mutta vähän saisi harjoitella tilausten muistamista. Aamiainen lisämaksusta ja hinta 12£ ei ollut mielestämme kohtuullinen. Ympäristössä ei ole lähistöllä oikein mitään, bensa-asema ja pieni shop. Mutta olimmekin pikamatkalla ja siihen tarkoitukseen sopi oikein hyvin.”

”It is an old hotel (antique in fact giving it’s been operating for 800 years), so no wall are straight, floors are uneven, hallways are narrow, and there is no elevator. But the conditions are ell kept, and the staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay there again”
