The hotel has so much history and the church across the road is beautiful. The rooms were warm, immaculate and the medieval stairs are a must. Food was all homemade and the breakfast was plentyful. Will definitely stay there again when I'm in the area.

The hosts were excellent every time I spoke to Julie she contacted me straight away. The lodge was just beautiful and surroundings. The lodge had every comfort one needs when you go away. It was warm, comfy , and spotless. And we had a lovely bottle of wine and brewing up facilities plus biscuits ...

We arrived early so had a drink in the bar, check in was at 4 but they started to let people check in at 15:40, it was smooth and there were no issues, the lady was friendly and very helpful. Exceptionally clean, comfortable, well-furnished, kind and helpful hosts. Very well situated for walking into Keswick, doing local walks, using the bus system and easy parking/driving. Perfect studio for 2 adults. Stayed 4 nights and would have loved to stay longer. Thanks Steve and Irena!
