Motellit – Paso Robles Wine Country

”I arrived at 9:45 pm. There was no one around to check me in. I had to push the doorbell button 3x before someone came to the counter. She left and a gentleman came back. (The whole time I was waiting OUTSIDE of the building ... not in the lobby.) I was asked for my ID, and credit card. Through a round while in the glass, I was given a rolled up paper, and a pen to sign it with. Then I got my card & ID back along with the key to the room. (No instructions on where to go .. or even a Thank you.)...

”Nice property. As advertised. Clean. A/C heating unit worked well. Rooms small, but usable. Bed comfortable. Towels and wash clothes small and thin (used). Need replacing. And double the amount of towels in a room, that could have two people in it. But....the walls are paper thin. And rude, uncaring guests are loud and noisy. You are able to hear TV's and talking in next rooms. Causing sleepless (mostly) nights. Parking is ok, but small spaces and driving lane and more parking is needed.”

”Room was clean, good size. Nice location, across the road from the beach. Good variety for breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.”

”We stayed here only one night during our road trip. The hotel is near the Hearst Castle visitor center and some miles away from the elephant seal vista point (which I totally recommend). Hotel has a small pool, a restaurant and a bar and there are small shops nearby. Everything you can hope for a quick or even longer stop. Rooms were clean and nice. ”
