”Wonderfull holiday home on a private terrain. Great base to explore the region: coastal villages and beaches, Girona, Figueres with its Dali museum, Besalu, Banyoles,... all within 45 minutes by car. For peace and quiet in the typical Catalan surroundings you don't even have to leave the property: the swimming pool on the forested terrain is an absolute plus. Helen and Joan very available without any intrusion at all, even though they have their own house about 100m away. Ideal for a family...

”My extended family of 14 had a wonderful stay at Mascaros . It is a huge 500 year old mansion with thick walls and floors of stone . The rooms were large with high ceilings and the house and kitchen were fully equipped. Outi arranged for neighbor, a chef , to cater a birthday party for us one night which was great and included a paella . There were many nice beaches close by which we drove to and Girona was a close town to visit. The house has many fans to help with cooling and the 2 third floor...

”Our family, including adult children, had a lovely holiday enjoying the beaches and Costa Brava area. It was great to be able to walk to the safe and clean beach with crystal clear waters. The owners were helpful and accommodating. It's a fair drive to the nearest shop but with a well stocked kitchen and large fridge that wasn't an issue. Hope to return one day!”
