Best Western Pawleys delivered a great stay. We needed a safe, clean, affordable place for a couple nights when transitioning from one home into the another. I must remark that the shower was wonderful. Immediate hot water and refreshingly excellent shower head and water pressure. The building shows some wear and tear, but the kindness and attentiveness of the staff makes up for that. It definitely met our needs and expectations.

Latoya at check-in was super friendly. Room was very nice and CLEAN. Beds very comfortable! Great selection of tv channels. Wonderful accommodations for a good price.

The property is nice and the front desk staff were great. The room needs another mirror. The only one is in the bathroom. The housekeeping staff didn't leave extra toilet paper. On check in day i had to ask for a roll because there was only a half roll in the bathroom.

I'm not sure if some of these reviews are fake or what not, but this was by far not a great hotel. You definitely get what you pay for and it's average at best. Not very clean from top to bottom. That said, the staff was nice and that does make a difference! Otherwise, It's the Best Western.

This hotel has the most friendly, patient and caring staff. It is clean and quiet, and it offers a nice breakfast and 24-hour hot beverages in the lobby.

Very Disappointing in So Many Ways
Not so good, very disappointing for the price. Heat/AC system blew between frigid and hot air no matter what temp I set it at. Old-style LCD tv, pic was washed out, no settings to correct it. Channels wouldn't display a picture after a couple hours. Mattress not very comfortable. The bed is set very high off the ground which would make getting in and out difficult for older people or those with some disabilities (I'm 6' tall and found it difficult). Areas under night stand and other furniture not vacuumed, lots of dirt, debris. Bed sheets and towels are made with polyester blended into the fabric. It's like drying off with a plastic bag after a shower. Four small, lumpy, polyester-filled pillows, cheap and uncomfortable, undersized for a king size bed. I expected a lot more from a Best Western and a room priced at $145/night. After waking up an hour after going to sleep, because the heat system was blowing frigid air, and unable to watch TV, I packed and left. I called the following day to complain and hoping for some reimbursement which wasn't offered, decided to let others know of my experience. I don't understand how hotel owners can cut corners on comfort and quality and expect guests will just accept it. (Linens with polyester???)

get away to see the lights at BrookGardens
Book a room that says handicap, never in my life seem a bed that was around 36" off the floor. My wife with a metal replacement hip had a hard time getting in such a high bed. The room was clean. But it did lack a tabletop to set your luggage off the floor. Tub/shower had hand shower located at 4' foot up. so, a taller person taking shower it hit your chest height. Breakfast was lacking yogurt all four days, 2 days they only used 1 steamer instead of 2 for hot breakfast food. little lacking on selection of breakfast food. Building was clean inside and out. Windows had a dark window tint on all doors and windows. Overall since it was clean, no smells, Staff seem friendly. Would give it a B+,

quick, courteous, efficient check-in. Comfortable and spacious room. Good bed for a good night's rest. nice bathroom. Near good restaurants (Habaneros Mexican within walking distance). so-so breakfast.

Overall pretty good for the money, recent upgrades on the bed sheets and covers, bathrooms are well used but usually clean, carpets are worn and stained and could definitely use an upgrade, but overall decent. Staff has always been very professional and helpful.

Would never stay here again
The room smelled terrible from cigarettes and when we asked the front desk the only thing offered was to spray with Lysol which did nothing. The outlet for the coffee maker had to be manipulated with a piece of cardboard, the lighting in the bathroom was terrible, each time we left the key cards stopped working.

Police banging on door middle of night. Hotel needs an update. Dark bathroom. Super skimpy towels. Just one switch for Light and fan. Fan very loud. Toilet didn’t flush one day. Comfy bed. Very clean shower. Air conditioner worked very well.
