”Wonderful stay and a lovely room. Had breakfast both morning - delicious though service was a bit slow and had to go ask for buffet table to be replenished - could ba bit more attentive. Had evening meal both nights and food was delicious and excellent service ”

”Ideal place for a quiet, relaxing stay. The staff could not have been any more helpful or accommodating. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice, plus a fresh light bites menu available all afternoon and into the evening.”

”Hotel needs an update. Staff were nice enough and all the bits you need were there but the customer experience was lacking. Our room was lovely, if cold. The radiators only work part of the time. The characterful bathroom did not have a big enough radiator - no lingering in the bath with just a tidgy towel rail to heat you ( a tall ceiling and giant window.) There was very little phone signal (not their fault of course), but the wifi was atrocious, barely there and dropping out regularly -...

”Here’s a polished, firm but fair review you can use (keeps your key points but strengthens the impact): I stayed at Crabwall Manor Hotel & Spa (room 50) and unfortunately had a very poor experience. I was not informed at the time of booking that a wedding would be taking place. I have no issue with events being held, but the noise continued until around 1am and made it impossible to get any sleep. When I raised this with staff, I was simply told “there’s nothing we can do as it’s a wedding.”...

”Breakfast was good as was service in hotel. However I wouldn't recommend if going with children/babies. Limited facilities (no fridge in room, limited storage space for unpacking) and pool depth is 1.1m only in small section of pool with limited usage times for children, rest is 1.4m. Location itself was decent -15/20 mins from main centre. Didn't eat lunch/dinner at hotel so can't recommend. Hotel garden was nice. Free parking on site.”

”Enjoyed our stay overall. Evening food wasn’t great and restaurant seemed a bit cafeteria like considering how beautiful the hotel is. Pool was too cold.”

”Easy to find, great parking. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Needs more hooks in the bathroom and plug/charging points in thr main room. Continental breakfast was a bit sparse, although they did give me a poached egg. Staff were friendly.”

”Hôtel très bien situé, facilement accessible de la gare ou de la gare routière. Le centre ville n'est pas très loin non plus, les balades le long du canal sont plutôt agréables. Je recommande vivement cet établissement pour un séjour à Chester.”
