”To be honest it was very loud from the gig place from across the road (Saturday) but it calmed down & it was quiet for the rest of the stay in spir of the house's very central location (& lots of good music in town). I had an issue with the window & appreciated that the hotel owner responded & resolved the situation.The rooms are lovingly decorated & warm, and the bed was very comfy. ”

It was quiet and comfortable and I loved the window seat in the bay window. The bathroom was enormous and boasted both bath and walk in shower. ”Staff are overworked. They have to check you in while serving at the bar. We were charged by Expedia and charged a second time when we checked in for the stay. Expedia refused to assist in the resolution, saying we had to work it out with the hotel. ”

”Hotel was clean and nicely located to visit the Open golfcourses just 20 min drive south. Price and quality was superb. Rooms were clean and spacious enough. Breakfast was good and cheap. Highly recommend!”
