However out of 4 nights of our stay one night sleep was interupted by noisy guests returning to their room at 1 pm followd by another gentleman swearing, yelling and banging for at least 30 minutes at 2/3pm. there was allso some functions held at the venue where resident guest parking was made difficult by the sheer number of cars parking for the functiobns. ”When we arrived we saw immediately that the sofabed in the lounge was broken and could not be used to sit or sleep on, this was disappointing as it meant there were not enough beds for us all. We contacted the owner and the next day a chap arrived with an airbed. We requested that the sofa be replaced but that did not happen. ”The entrance to check in was not obvious from the outside when we arrived and the hotel is isolated in its location. However, staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good.”

”I stayed for two nights with my wife, bed and breakfast. We had one of the chalets out the back which was very clean and cosy. The facilities are first class and the staff were great. The food was superb, reasonably priced and large portions. The breakfast was very good with a ample choice.”

”The thermostat to the radiators didn’t work so we couldn’t turn the temperature down and were therefore uncomfortably hot and got limited sleep. The mattress added to the lack of sleep as it was very uncomfortable. The door to our room you could close from the inside with a hard shove but you couldn’t close from the outside so we couldn’t leave anything valuable in the room. ”We were less happy with the room on this occasion, dark sombre furniture, a dusty desk and no view. There was a spacious modernized bath & shower room however. There is a lift for rooms at the front and some stairs for rooms at the back so an odd mix of different levels. Splendid parkland very well maintained. We enjoyed the "Greek night" and the breakfast was equally good so happy with the food and service.”

”Do not stay here, it needs demolishing. If you are desperate for somewhere to sleep consider getting a sleeping bag and sleeping on the streets! It was a walk in, walk out and find another hotel scenario!”

”Room was clean and staff friendly. TV only had 2 channels that worked and when you flush the toilet the bedroom walls shook as if something was going to errupt from within. Breakfast was a disapointment and not worth. It was meant to serve until 10:30 but at 9am it was like locusts had attacked. Whilst hot food did eventually get restocked the pastries etc didnt. ”
