”Despite booking three weeks prior to arrival, the Owner had not looked at my booking, including lower bunk only for the two nights, due to my disability preventing me getting up into a top bunk. This request has never been an issue in any other Hostel. Additionally, there is a strict rule, only advised on arrival, of no alcohol to be consumed on or off site for the entire duration of stay, plus the additional rule of no drugs, including prescription and over the counter, to taken taken, again,...

”This was budget accommodation and was adequate for sleeping and relaxing. The room was clean. Hot water took ages to arrive after turning on. The bathroom sink had a crack although did not leak. The front door lock was stiff and sometimes the door bolt would get stuck inside the faceplate - it had to be banged to get it to release.”

”Cockroach in bathroom in the middle of the night. Awful smell from the bathroom drain that we ended up putting small towels over it to stop the smell. Mould spores and mould on curtains in lounge room. They put us in a room directly across from the golf club and restaurant. From 4.30am very loud noises and people congregating behind my bedroom window talking loudly. Told reception who couldn’t care less and that’s it’s a golf resort so what do you expect. Still they are happy to take your $400...

It’s clear to see that all the staff are happy in their roles and enjoy working there. Some standouts include Julie, Georgia and Peter. Breakfast in Seasalt was fabulous & Pam went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. We were also impressed to see a young man with special needs working there.
