”Lovely place to stay and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyd the hearty breakfast. The location is great to travel by train in to Cardiff city centre.
We will return and hopefully arrive earlier to fit in an evening meal - menu looked good.”

”Lovely clean rooms set in a lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings. Carpark had plenty of space. The pub/restaurant was fantastic. One of the best steaks I’ve had.
I was impressed by the wine list as it had plenty of choice of fantastic wines.
Only downside was they stopped serving drinks at 10pm. Much too early to shut shop after you’ve been in the restaurant all evening.
Other than that, we were satisfied.”

”Our room was excellent - recently decorated with good facilities - our only problem was with the shower (no instructions). We had an evening meal which was very well presented. No breakfast available but there are coffee shops and cafes in the village. The staff were very helpful.
We would happily stay here again.”

”It was during one of the high temperatures inEngland and tho it had two fresh air windows the host only allowed one. a small bathroom size window for ventilation plus a small fan. I asked him to open the other window / door but was denied seeming me to leave the property after one nite due to a high temp room . Host was not very helpful
tho I asked to change rooms. Also no shade on deck . Would not stay here again .”
