”Lovely old inn within minutes' walk of the town pubs and eateries. Be aware though, the shortest route is via the steep steps aptly called 'Jacob's ladder' across the road. Hotel staff were very friendly, incredibly friendly towards the dogs making it the perfect place to stay. Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast. Will stay again.”

”Very nice property, beautiful views of the beach and lake from the property, nice garden area to sit and relax. Parking for two cars was really helpful. Truro and Falmouth were good places to visit. Trelissick Garden National Trust was also a good place to visit, especially if you are National trust members, the gardens there are beautiful. ”

”Lovely barn conversion! cottages have a very modern feel. Plenty to do and see such as the walk around Argal reservoir, tennis, pool, seeing the animals on the farm like goats, horses and the owners amazing dogs. Owner Ian is very friendly and always happy to help if you need a hand with anything. Overall, lovely stay and would love to come back again!”

”The cottage was lovely. It had no Wi-Fi or 4g signal so planning the next days agenda was impossible until you drove out of the site. Also apart from the on site bar (the staff were wonderful) there was no where to walk easily to get something to eat. ”
