Nauti "Schoolhouse Cottage" -hotellin Seneca-järven kokemuksesta ja historiasta!

Suoraan keittiön edessä on olohuone, jossa on overstuffed huonekalut ja suuri, taulutelevisio elokuville hiljaisissa sisäiltaisissa järvissä. Ulkopuolella ranskalaiset ovet voit nauttia panoraamanäkymistä Seneca-auringonlaskua katetulla kuistilla, joka ulottuu lähes koko kodin etupuolelle.

Suuren huoneen puolella on tilava Master-sviitti, jossa on king-size-vuode, 40 tuuman taulutelevisio, oma kylpyhuone ja oma kävelykatu katettuun eteiseen. Kaksi muuta makuuhuonetta ja jaettu täysi kylpyamme ovat aivan käytävän takana kodin takana. Wonderful cottage with fantastic views

Everything went great. The only problem we had was the grill that didn't work, but it was quickly replaced with another one. There is a railroad right behind the property and the train woke up our baby once. But they go very rarely and this is mentioned in the description.

Spring break wine trail trip

Our stay was great! The house was perfect and the view was beautiful. We even met family members of the home owners at Fox Run! It was a little bit of a drive around the lake, but really not bad at all. So much to see and do, even if this was the off season. Would stay agin if we get the chance.

Great place with great friends

Spent the weekend with friends at Schoolhouse Cottage. I have been coming to Finger Lakes past 20 years and the cottage was one of the best places I ever rented. Location was perfect, cottage super clean and comfortable. Highly recommend place and would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular place

Beautiful, clean, and spacious house. Comfortable place to hang out and relax. Gorgeous views of Seneca lake. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the house.

Fantastic Week

The house is WONDERFUL! Quiet street, great open space! Kitchen is stocked enough when it comes ton pots and pans and utensils ! I would suggest packing ziplock bags or your own leftover containers if you are gonna cook. 7 people some with a couples showers a day and never ran out of hot water! Ceiling fans in 2 of the bedrooms. The back porch….. OMG We lived there! The VIEW, ceiling fans and seating was AWESOME! Plenty of space for all 7 of us! OUR only issue was we did not see the instructions on how to lock the two French doors. The management company never got back to us. We did not use the kayaks because they were difficult to get to. WE WILL GO BACK!!!

Great weekend away!

The house was perfect for a wine weekend away. There were 8 of us total, the kitchen had man amenities, matched the photos and was plenty spacious. The views were stunning and the deck was perfect for sunbathing. The only hang up we had was parking, we were only allowed 3 spaces when the property could have fit more cars. We parked the others at the rental office 15 minutes away but wished we could have parked at the house. All that said I would fully recommend and hope to be back in the future!

Exceeded expectations

The house is even bigger and lovelier than it appears online. It was sparkling clean right down to the corners both inside and out. Right away we felt relaxed and at home, and it was perfect for our group of six adults and two children. We loved hanging out in the main room and around the long dining table. We spent hours on the huge, comfortable porch overlooking the lake enjoying our morning coffee, watching the birds on the water and in the trees, taking afternoon naps, sipping wine, and later marveling at the peacefulness of lake after dark. We also had a magical evening around the fire pit toasting marshmallows for s'mores. I even spent a quiet hour by myself just relaxing and reading down on the dock. It was fun to play with the children in the large yard. The kitchen had everything we needed with more than enough plates, glasses, and silverware. The beds were comfortable and the main bedroom had both an en suite and a door that opened on to that fabulous porch. Both the serene setting and the location were perfect for us. Our only regret is that we didn't book a longer stay.

The best VBRO ever!

It would take a very long time to list all the wonderful features of this property. It is absolutely stunning, much larger than I anticipated, spotlessly clean, and the perfect location. All the beds are super comfy, plenty of hot water, and the view is amazing. I was attending my daughter's wedding in Penn Yan and couldn't have found a better place to relax and rest in between festivities. A sincere thank you to the owners for allowing us to stay, and kudos to property management for the upkeep and excellent communication. ten stars!

Right by the lake

I’ve stayed at a few different places in the finger lake region and this was one of my favorites! The view from the back porch is gorgeous. Definitely a fun little get away place. LOTS OF SPACE. And it’s close to many wineries along Seneca. Check in and check out was super easy.

perfect stay

i don't know where to start - the place was spotless, excellent layout, good comfortable furniture and mattresses, and the kitchen has everything you need . the setting was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. THE PORCH was where we where most of the time , right on the water watching the sun rise or the full moon, listening to the birds and looking at that serene lake. next time, we will stay longer. many thanks.

Tranquil cottage with high quality finishes

We stayed at the cottage for a week of peace and tranquility found on a wonderful porch overlooking the lake. The finishes inside and out were of definite high quality. There was an abundance of room for reading, listening to music, cooking, tv and of course conversation. We are looking forward to future visits.

Peaceful vacation

Beautiful home sitting on Seneca Lake. Just an incredible place and wonderful vacation spot. The sunrise view from the back deck are amazing. Very quiet and peaceful. The house was very clean and has all the amenities you need.

Graduation and Wine Tasting

What a wonderful time we had at the Schoolhouse Cottage! This spacious waterfront property had everything we were looking for and more. The kitchen is fabulous—large 6-burner range with a huge oven and nice cookware made dining in a real pleasure. The gas grill by the deck was in perfect working order with plenty of propane. Nice updated baths, as well. The huge deck looking out over the yard and Seneca Lake really stole the show, though! We found ourselves wishing we had scheduled a couple more days just to hang out at the property, lounge on the dock, and paddle around in the kayaks. That said, location is also perfect for taking advantage of the many nearby attractions: we had a lovely time at Anthony Road Winery just minutes away and were just 15-20 minutes from HWS Colleges where our son was graduating this weekend. We would definitely return for a longer stay!

Kitchen area with eat in kitchen table was great for us to set up food for small graduation party & all sit together. We relaxed & enjoyed the spectacular view from the comfy chairs on the porch. The entire house looks re done with beautiful wood floors, moldings & large windows. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Lake House

We had a fun few day stay here for a birthday. This place is so beautiful and clean and is situated on Lake Seneca with a wonderful view. Did lots of wine tasting all around the lake and this cottage was in the perfect location. If you stay here you must visit Anthony Road Winery and Kemmeter. Great experiences all around. Will definitely stay here again.
