”Be sure to ask to see some of the beautiful antique lamps that are on the property. Wonderful surroundings of fields and trees made for a restful, quiet stay. Our breakfast, our first day, led to a conversation from Timothy about dairy farming. We had no idea there was so much involved. We were glad to have found this place that was a comfortable alternative to the name brand hotels in Jamestown.”

I would definitely stay here again in the future and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway.”

”The room was advertised to have a private hot tub--not! It was a restricted-access, scheduled-use hot tub--no thanks. The room was small, with quirky heating and cooling systems. A vanity in the bathroom was provided as the only clothing storage solution, although there were hooks on the wall for hanging clothes. If you were housed in their annex (I would call it), you had to carry your belongings from the parking lot across the lawn and then scale a small grass-covered slope and step up...

”It is hard to find the bathroom light switch in the dark. An easy fix, but not a great greeting after a long trip. The room was clean but an extra blanket would be nice. I would suggest that you use the word "precisely....at 8:30." Our breakfast was fresh and hot, but another couple came down later after their plates had been served on the table long before they arrived. I don't find any excuse for that. Breakfast was decent but hardly chef-prepared. We learned to ask questions about...
