”Great pub just outside of Penzance - would recommend”

”We stayed at several places and this was another good one, but, keep in mind that: 1. You need to prebook a parking space. it will be an extra charge ~ £9 2. Also, prebook the restaurant for dinner. They can't guarantee guests a table 3 they automatically at a 10% gratuity on dinner bills, it says optional on the check Recommend.”

”An L-shaped single room with a shower and kettle corner. Basic but cheap and cheerful , warmed up room made the welcome even warmer. A cooked breakfast served by the friendly owners set you up for the day. ”

”This pub was a great stop for us following a day of walking the SWCP. Very peaceful even though it is a pub. It is approximately 1 mile from Perranunthnoe, and SWCP. Bus 2 runs from right outside so ideal for connections to Penzance and Porthleven. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.”

”Very clean rooms and friendly hosts. It was quite cool in the evenings with heating only on in the mornings and there was no communal lounge area to sit in so we felt we were confined to our bedroom. ”

”The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. ”

When we received our welcome email from the property manager we learned that the free parking was only for stays of a week or longer. The parking lot is a 10-minute walk uphill from the flat, costs £11/day. The flat is cute although small, but very quiet with a comfortable bed and well equipped galley kitchen.
