Delightful property 15 minutes from St Ives

Relaxing and quiet 2 bedroom holiday property 5 minutes from Penzance. Located on the Kenegie manor grounds. Ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle. Lots of nearby beaches, shops and restaurants. 15 minute drive to St Ives and 10 mins to St Michael Mount.
A swimming pool, tennis courts, bar/restaurant, kids putting facilities are available and payable locally.

Wi-Fi is available and is paid to an external supplier

The property has its own parking and overlooks fields at the rear

The property is an 'upside down' layout - so the open plan kitchen and lounge is on the top floor. This means the area is wonderfully bright and light. There is a parking space to the rear of the property but also an overflow car park can be used if more than one vehicle needs to park.
The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has two singles.

The bathroom has a shower, please note there is no bath.

The property has a smart and well equipped kitchen.

The lounge area has a 32 inch smart TV, dvd player and small selection of DVD's.

Please note I employ a professional cleaning company to clean, provide the linen and towels. I am extremely particular when it came to choosing our cleaning company.

The kitchen is well equipped with all the regular utensils, microwave, kettle, fridge, hob and oven.
Guest access
The property is located just 10-15 minute drive away from St Ives. Numerous shops and beaches are available within a 10-15 minute drive.

St Michael's mount is a 10 minute drive away.


I have a lot of restaurant recommendations so don't be afraid to ask me!
Other things to note
There is a £30 charge payable to the site directly at reception for a 7 day facilities pass which grants 4 people access to the leisure facilities which include indoor pool, sauna, tennis courts and a childrens golf putting green. The swimming pool and bar are open from the 19th of February.
Please note if you book for a stay before these dates the bar and pool fascilities will be closed.
The tennis courts are open and free to use throughout the year.
Wifi is available through the kenegie manor website and is paid directly on their app (please ask me if you need more details on this)

I don't take bookings for check in on Friday and Saturday - this is because the roads are too busy for my customers! I don't want you to be sat on the roads for hours in traffic! You are welcome to check in Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday!

Upon arrival I had to contact the host as the place had been left absolutely filthy, hairs in the beds and shower, pet hair accumulated on the floor, dust everywhere simply disgusting. The site itself is run down and un pleasant. There is no staff and nothing to do on site. The property had several faults, a loose mirror on the bathroom cabinet that could have fallen easily and smashed on the sink below, a faulty light in the kitchen, the TV didn't work well with the poor signal and you had to pay extra for WiFi! Honestly can say I would never ever stay here again. I was so incredibly disappointed. The host did get the cleaner to return straight away when we arrived which was good but we watched as she barely did anything, poorly ran the hoover over the rug and still didn't get all the pet hairs. She didn't change the beds nor wash the shower so I had to clean the shower myself and get all the hairs off the beds myself. Psrkimg outside the property was vertually impossible if someone was staying in the place next door we spent the week having to park away from the property at the tennis courts. All in all I can say it really did put a huge downer on our week away.

Enjoyable stay
I enjoyed my stay except the beds where slightly uncomfortable and the shower was too small. My husband curbed his wheel on the narrow lane to our parking slot but the property manager was very friendly.

LOVELY ACCOMMODATION, NITHING TOO MUCH TROUBLE
We have had a lovely relaxing time at Ollys place. He is a genuinely thoughtful host and would highly recommend. Double bed could do with a better mattress, but otherwise good. Shower is fine if you are no larger than a size L. We have loved out stay and can't thank Olly enough. Its just what we were needing. Close to Penzance and everything surrounding it.
