”We had a lovely time staying here. Played games, watch movies, washed our clothing from our camping trip days before. We loved the proximity to Escanaba, Fayette, and Kitchitikipi. We were able to make a couple of little day trips and relax in the evening and this great home in the woods. Great yard for yard games too! The river and property is beautiful! ”The house is located on the river and is fantastic. Really, you have got to sit on the deck and soak up the peaceful waters, watch the deer and eagles (yes, eagles), and other wildlife. The interior is fully functional and laid out really well for relaxation. Really appreciated the NetFlix too for late evening chilling. Cannot go wrong staying here. Owners were great to work with and communicated really well. We'll be back!”

”The host/owner was amazing. Only downside and in no way her fault or in her control is Verizon cell service doesn’t work in that area. That being said really want a downside seeing that people didn’t have there faces in there phones all weekend. Also very confident that she also owns and operates a convenient store attached to the property. Being in such a remote area it was useful at times. I highly recommend starting here. Like I said just/owner was an amazing person”

”Traveling with 3 adults, 3 kids 1-13 and 2 dogs and we all fit. Cottage was very clean, air conditioner worked wonderfully and communication with the host was prompt. The kids loved the fishing, kayaks and paddle boats. The neighbors were great and very friendly. I highly recommend Van Cleve park and Gladstone beach if your traveling with kids. Even the neighborhood dog “Gus” was welcoming ”

”Brought niece and her 2 teens to visit family in Gladstone. 12 yo nephew LOVED fishing!! Everyone went out in kayaks, paddleboat, and played yard games. Exceptionally clean and stocked with what we needed. Reached out to owners for a couple questions and they replied immediately. Definitely recommend this place. ”

”We had three families totaling 14 people. This place was ideal! Plenty of bedrooms and beds for the adults and kids to pick. Plenty of bathrooms so no waiting! Plenty of space!
