”Liked everything! Really nice location, Conic Hill and loch boat tour etc easily available. Very friendly service and room lacked only more wall hooks for towels, other than that perfect.”

”The hotel is in beautiful surroundings, wery easy make some hiking around the near mountains or take a bus to Glencoe/Ben Nevis area. The rooms were a little out of date, some renovation neede there. But downstairs is in better condition, the restauranta and bar area. The breakfast is really good, a lot of options and well cooked. ”This is a lovely hotel in a row of historic cottages along a street right by the Broughty Ferry waterfront and within easy walking distance to the shore on one side, and shops and restaurants on the other. Street parking in front of the hotel was free although it did take a few trips around the block to find a space during the mid afternoon. We used the pub in the ground floor as a meeting spot for friends and also really enjoyed the breakfast selection. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”

”The staff was very attentive and courteous. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and well appointed with necessities. The location was ideal, right in the center of St. Andrews and down the street from the Old Course and shops. The food was delicious, the breakfast was inclusive with our stay. We also booked dinner and it was such a treat! The presentation, the intimate setting, and the food was delicious. We highly recommend the Haar for a place to stay and eat!”

”A cosy and nice hotel. Service and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was quite what you would expect, although points to the hotel for having also something else than english breakfast. Weakest coffee we had the entire trip though. The room was great, however the matress was 20cm smaller than should be on the bed. It was also smaller than in the pictures and wasn’t that comfortable. ”
