”The room we had was spacious, and there are nice outdoor sitting areas. Breakfast is placed in your refrigerator and in a basket the day before. If you are hoping for a charming Berkshire bed and breakfast with a cooked breakfast and interaction with your host, you will be disappointed. If you are satisfied with an unusually nice motel, you will be very happy."”

”I usually stay here and yes staff are nice and rooms are decent but I’ve seen a decline in amenities. Maybe the expense of things - bathrobe in room, water and snacks were what I was used to seeing .in the room.”

”No pool”

”The host was on site when we arrived and greeted us graciously and efficiently. The room was clean and spacious, with a beautifully renovated bathroom (Room 5). The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but comfortable. There was no place to hang clothes, but there was plenty of drawer space in the bureau and bed stands. The reservation portal indicates the room has a hair dryer and a microwave oven, but it does not. They are still in renovation mode, so the outer appearance of the property still...

”My stay was great. There were a couple of problems with my room which were quickly fixed. Steve who is one of the front desk clerks is wonderful. He went above and beyond. Breakfast was wonderful. Coffee just needs to be a little stronger...”

”Location”

”The door handle and door mechanism in my room was covered in dust. The door to the bathroom had a hard time closing because it was warped. There was a large stain on the rug. There was a spider on the curtains. I left after one night of a two night stay.”

”I've stayed at this motel many times and find it to be a great balance of value vs. condition/cleanliness and a good stay. The staff literally could not be any friendlier and are a highlight of the stay, very accommodating and go out of their way to help with any needs you may have. I will definitely continue to stay here when I am in the area for hiking trips.”

”Quaint and comfortable stay for our one night in the most adorable town of Shelburne Falls. A walk to the river and the bridge of flowers at sunset gave us the most beautiful pictures. Owner was kind and helpful. We stayed here while my son biked at Thunder Mountain-a quick easy 10 min drive away and would stay again.”

”Best budget accommodation we have experienced in the region. Very comfortable with pleasing grounds, and an excellent location, just minutes outside of Great Barrington. Very clean, with a good shower and comfy bed. Limited amenities but signage indicated guests here have access to the offerings at the main inn nearby. Self-check-in worked fine, and in the morning we discovered the common room with good coffee, relaxing views of the garden and woods out the back, and an in-progress puzzle. ...

”This is a quiet, no frills place. It’s hard to find a reasonably priced motel in the Berkshires in-season and this is it. Fancy it is not. Stylish, also no. But it was clean and the mattresses were comfortable.”
