This particular Motel 6 was very disappointing, even for a low end chain. If you are desperate, maybe, but try to avoid it if at all possible.
First, the good news. Dillon, the check in clerk, was friendly, efficient, and very helpful. Likewise, the cleaning staff were friendly and willing to provide extra towels.
The towels were clean and although minimal in size and thickness, they were adequate.
The shower had hot water and plenty of it. The air conditioner worked well even when the outside air was in the high eighties and low nineties.
We stayed overnight Friday and Saturday and there was no traffic noise and no noise from neighbors.
Now for the bad news, and there is plenty. In short, the room was dirty, well worn and had a number of issues.
The room was dirty; dust was in many places and spiderwebs in the corners on the floors and ceilings. There were hairs in the shower. The lamp shades were dirty. The edges were quite dark. Additionally, one of the lamp shades had three significant slices in it.
The floor was well worn, had major scuff marks, and felt dirty. The paint was well worn, as were the air conditioner and doors.
The outside door didn't automatically close and when we made sure it was closed, there was a six inch long gap at the bottom, allowing bugs to enter. The bathroom door didn't close at all.
There was no iron nor ironing board The manager said they don't offer them. Also, the staff said they don't clean until one checks out.
