Motellit – Philadelphia

”Rented the room at this Hotel for a 3-day hockey tournament, which was a 15-minute drive away. It was perfect! Not classy, or exotic. It offered a bed, refrigerator and microwave and two double beds. Floor was clean, We used our own blankets for beds. Air conditioner worked as well as the heat. There was hot water for showers. Very little outdoor noise and less than I would have spent driving back and forth home-- some 20 miles- for each of the five games over 3 days. And although no one came to...

”This hotel is terrible. The key stopped working every night and we needed to go to the front office to have it reset and even after having it reset it was hit of miss if it would work. No fridge, terrible television, no chair, two tiny towels, two tiny pillows, flimsy thin blanket. I don’t care how cheap it was I will never stay there again.”

”The room was a nonsmoking room, but all of our clothes smell like stale smoke. Our refrigerator did not work. We told the staff upon arrival, and they said someone would look at it. Never happened. There were 2 flimsy pillows on the bed, and the towels were small and thin. The best part of the room was the shower. The water was hot and the pressure really good. It’s a budget hotel. You get what you pay for. We would probably not stay there again.”

”We didn't stay here! We walked into the room and saw hair in the bathroom sink, there were 2 beds and one was so close to the bathroom door that you had to shimmy past the bed or climb over it to get to the bathroom. There were flies in the room too. It looked like some sort of apartment deep in the hood! My wife was basically disgusted with the place. I'm trying to get a refund for this as we had to find another hotel for the night.”

”Hole in the wall… literally had a hole in my wall. Toilet seat was broken. Was told by staff they couldn’t do anything until the next day… and they didn’t even come. They have roaches…. Kinda gives that it may also be a shelter. I didn’t even feel comfortable enough to get under the covers. Nice price point, but it’s wayyy better options in the area with similar price. Don’t do it. No shuttle either”

”The room and the water were actively cold, and smelled funny. There is nothing wrong with an old motel, if it is clean and well maintained. This was neither.”

”The room was clean enough, but the bed had a major indent in it which made sleeping a bit difficult. The room also had a little bit of a musty scent.”
