We stayed one night at the Hilton after choosing it based on good reviews and its proximity to the airport, as we had a late-night flight arrival. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected.
When we arrived around 11:00 PM, we had a very hard time finding the entrance. The hotel is currently under major construction — something we were not made aware of when booking. Check-in took place in what appeared to be a temporary, makeshift lobby.
Our room was extremely outdated and had a musty odor. To make matters worse, we found someone’s old sock under the vanity, which made the space feel unclean. Since it was already late and we were only staying for one night, we decided to tough it out, but it was disappointing to pay well over $200 for a musty, outdated room in the middle of a construction zone.
I wish the hotel had been more transparent about the ongoing renovations. For the price, this stay did not meet the standards we expected from a Hilton property
